Adult (16+) Sprint and Relay (500m pool swim – 20K bike – 5k run)
Youth 6-7 – 50m swim, 2K bike, 500m run.
Youth 8-9 – 100m swim, 4K bike, 1K run
Youth 10-11 – 150m swim, 6K bike, 2K run
Youth 12-13 – 200m swim, 10K bike, 2K run
Youth 14-15 – 300m swim, 12K bike, 3K run
Youth Junior Relay – 150m swim. 6K bike, 2K run
Youth Senior Relay 300m swim, 12K bike, 3K run
Elite 13-15/16-19 – 300m swim, 12K bike, 3K run

Online registration closes at midnight on August 6.
RACE PACKAGE PICKUP
Race packages will be provided at transition. Each participant will have a pre-assigned rack spot and race packages will be left at each participant’s transition spot.
BIKE & HELMET CHECK
There will be no bike and/or helmet check for the 2021 event. All participants must ensure that their bike is road worthy and that they are wearing an approved bicycle helmet.
Pore-race briefings will take place via the Zoom online meeting platform on August 7th. The KOS briefing will take place at 2:30 and the adult briefing will take place at 3:30.
DAY OF RACE
Transition opens at 6:30 am. First heat starts at 7:30am. Event parking is at the Esquimalt Sport Centre across the playing fields from the pool. Bikes must be racked a minimum of 30 minutes before your start time. Body marking will take place on the pool deck prior to your heat.
There will be no race day hydration or nutrition provided by race organizers. Participants must provide for their own nutrition and hydration needs.
All bikes and personal articles must be removed from the transition area by 30 minutes after the last finisher crosses the finish line.
There will be no awards ceremony at the venue. An awards ceremony will take place via the Zoom online meeting platform at 6 pm following the event. Medals to top 3 places in each adult age group and ribbons for the top 3 places in each youth age group will be mailed to the winners. Prize money to top 3 male and female adult finishers has been generously donated by Robert Cameron Law.
